This technology, known as WeChat Brush Palm, has been implemented at over 60 locations across Macau, including popular tourist destinations like Galaxy Hotel & Broadway, Wynn Palace, and the Taipa Village.
The expansion ofdigital payment options in Macau is expected to benefit both residents and tourists. It offers a more convenient and efficient way to pay for transportation, especially for those who may not have local currency or a Macau Pass card. It also aligns with the global trend towards cashless societies and fosters a more inclusive and accessible public transportation system.
