SHANGHAI, CHINA -September 18, 2024 – The Twin Peaks, aprominent landmark within Shanghai’s World Expo Cultural Park, will implement a free reservation system for climbing starting tomorrow, September 20th. This move aims tomanage visitor flow, enhance the overall experience, and ensure safety during the park’s southern section grand opening.
The World Expo Cultural Park, set to unveil itssouthern section on September 20th, has announced the reservation system for the Twin Peaks. The park authorities explained that the system is necessary to avoid overcrowding and ensure a smooth and safe experience for visitors.
We want to ensure thateveryone has a pleasant and safe experience while enjoying the beauty of the Twin Peaks, said a park spokesperson. The reservation system will help us manage the number of visitors at any given time, preventing congestion and allowing everyone to fully appreciate the scenery.
TheTwin Peaks, along with the Greenhouse Garden, are the main attractions in the newly opened southern section of the park. Both attractions are free of charge. Visitors wishing to climb the Twin Peaks must reserve their spot online through the Shanghai World Expo Cultural Park mini-program one day in advance.
The reservation processis straightforward:
- Access the Shanghai World Expo Cultural Park mini-program.
- Click on Twin Peaks and select the desired date and time slot.
- Upon successful reservation, a unique reservation code will be generated.
- Present the reservation code at the designated timeslot for entry.
The park offers seven time slots for climbing throughout the day:
- 08:00 – 09:30
- 09:30 – 11:00
- 11:00 – 12:30
- 12:30 – 14:00
- 14:00 – 15:30
- 15:30 – 17:00
- 17:00 – 18:30
Visitors can modify their reservation time by canceling theirexisting reservation and making a new one. However, it is crucial to arrive within the designated time slot, as entry will be denied otherwise.
The park authorities have also stated that in case of unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions, the Twin Peaks may be closed for climbing, and the reservation system will be adjusted or canceled accordingly.Visitors are advised to check the park’s official WeChat account, Shanghai World Expo Cultural Park, for the latest updates.
