In a significant move towards advancing the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into various industries, High德 Maps has announced the comprehensive opening of its spatial intelligence applications, marking a pivotal step in the widespread adoption of AI+ technology. This strategic initiative was unveiled at the 2024 Cloud栖 Conference, where High德 Maps’ subsidiary, Gaode Cloud Map, announced the opening of its Cloud Vision Spatial Intelligence application development capabilities and the Cloud境 Spatial Twin Map platform.
According to High德 Maps’ chairman, Liu Zhenfei, spatial intelligence is a critical keyword in the company’s AI journey. This concept integrates both spatial and temporal dimensions, enabling a deeper understanding of the real world. Liu emphasized that this comprehensive spatial intelligence is essential for future technological and economic advancements.
To support the development of startups in the spatial intelligence sector, High德 Maps has partnered with multiple venture capital firms, including Lihuer Capital, Southern Kai De Fund, and Baojiehui Fund, to establish the Spatial Industry Fund Alliance. This alliance aims to provide financial, technical, and organizational support to emerging spatial intelligence enterprises, accelerating their growth and the application of spatial intelligence technologies.
At the conference, Gaode Cloud Map also launched two new intelligent agents: the Full-Domain Traffic Intelligent Agent (ChatITS Agent) and the Full-Domain Commercial Intelligent Agent (ChatBI Agent). The Full-Domain Traffic Intelligent Agent leverages comprehensive spatial traffic data, traffic events, road networks, and geographical information to provide in-depth analysis and targeted governance recommendations for urban traffic. Currently, it supports the automation of reports for traffic conditions, signal control optimization, and major event contingency plans.
The Full-Domain Commercial Intelligent Agent, on the other hand, integrates human-location-time data and industry knowledge to offer commercial insights based on spatial intelligence. It provides industry reports for sectors such as coffee and tea, convenience stores, dining, tourism, and transportation, including trend analysis, brand development, location assessment, and operational analysis.
To further advance the application of AI in urban management, High德 Maps has established and inaugurated the first Spatial Intelligence City Operations Center in Qixiang, Zhejiang Province. This center will utilize AI capabilities to enhance traffic management, urban safety, and commercial operations, ensuring more proactive, precise, and efficient urban governance.
In addition to these initiatives, High德 Maps has also joined forces with companies like SF Express and Huolala to form the Spatial Safety Alliance, aiming to promote the practical application of AI+ technologies in various sectors.
High德 Maps, leveraging its technological capabilities, aims to fully open its spatial intelligence application development and the Cloud境 spatial twin map platform. By collaborating with industries to form the Spatial Industry Fund Alliance, we are driving the full interconnectivity and shared utilization of spatial intelligence city resources, promoting the AI-driven digital transformation of cities, said Liu Zhenfei.
This strategic move by High德 Maps not only underscores its commitment to advancing AI technology but also signals a significant step towards the widespread adoption of AI+ applications across various industries. With the establishment of the Spatial Industry Fund Alliance and the Spatial Safety Alliance, High德 Maps is positioning itself at the forefront of the spatial intelligence revolution, driving the integration of AI into the fabric of urban life and governance.
