AKECHI, FUKUSHIMA– The quaint onsen town of Akechi in Fukushima Prefecture came alive withcolor and imagination on September 22nd as it hosted a cosplay event. Over 100 cosplayers, dressed as characters from anime, video games, andother popular media, strolled through the town’s charming streets, capturing memories at local shops and shrines.

The event, a first for Akechi,aimed to bring a fresh energy to the traditional onsen town.
