Today, Foreign Minister Arjun Rana Dewa of Nepal and Canadian Foreign Minister Milley Joli, leading a delegation, held talks in Ottawa. This follows Minister Dewa’s participation in the ‘Meeting of Women Foreign Ministers’ to be held in Toronto from September 3 to 4, under the leadership of Canadian Foreign Minister Joli.
According to the Nepali Embassy in Ottawa, today, Foreign Minister Dewa participated in a meeting with the chairs of the Canada-Nepal Parliamentary Friendship Group and attended a welcome ceremony organized by the embassy on the occasion of Constitution Day. Upon arrival in Canada, Minister Dewa was welcomed at Montreal International Airport by Nepal’s Ambassador to Canada, Bhartaraj Poudyal, staff of the Nepali embassy, and Canadian government protocol officials.
