Title: National Fencing Player Bhishmaraj Dahal Repatriated from Japan Due to Financial Issues
Kathmandu, Nepal – National fencing player Bhishmaraj Dahal has been repatriated from Japan after three months of training due to financial constraints. Dahal, who had gone to Japan for a three-month training program, was sent back by the Japanese immigration authorities on economic grounds.
Upon his arrival in Kathmandu on Monday night, Dahal explained the situation, stating, The immigration authorities in Nagoya sent me back as they were not prepared for my arrival. There was no certainty about the availability of necessary documents for training at the club, nor was there a reliable source for living expenses.
Dahal, who has been involved in fencing for three years and represents the Bagmati province, had planned to stay in Japan from September 15 to December 15 for training. He had secured a sponsorship letter from Bhuvan Humagai in Japan, which guaranteed the full cost of his training period. Based on this letter, the Nepali Embassy in Japan provided him with a visa.
However, upon his arrival in Nagoya on September 14 via Thai Airways, he was immediately sent back by the Japanese immigration authorities. Dahal mentioned that he had spent approximately 2 lakh rupees on airfare and other living expenses but was unable to start his training, resulting in the loss of all his investments.
