Shenzhen, China – In a heartwarming initiative to support migrant workers and foster stronger family bonds, theKukeng Community in Shenzhen’s Guanlan Street recently hosted a unique family-friendly market. The event, held at the Xinwei New Village basketball court, attracted20 families of migrant workers who have contributed significantly to Shenzhen’s development.

The market was a vibrant spectacle, featuring a variety of engaging activities designed toentertain and educate both children and parents. A highlight was the Parent-Child Fun Games where families participated in activities like Dryland Dragon Boat Racing, Two-Person Three-Legged Race, and United Drumming, fostering teamwork and strengthening the bond between parents and children.

Recognizing the importance of legal awareness, the event also included a legal consultation booth staffed by professional lawyers. They provided valuable information on labor law, marriage law, and child protection,empowering migrant workers with knowledge about their rights and responsibilities.

Another key aspect of the market was the psychological counseling booth, offering a safe space for parents to share their concerns and receive guidance on effective communication and conflict resolution within their families. This initiative aimed to create a more harmonious and supportive environment for migrant families.

TheBook Exchange area was a popular attraction, with residents eagerly exchanging books and sharing their love of reading.
