On the second day, visitors will pay their respects at the Mao Zedong Memorial House, a serene and beautifully preserved site that reflects the leader’s early life and family. The South Bank Private School will also be visited again, this time to learn more about Mao’s early education and the influences that shaped him.

The tour will then take participants to the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, a comprehensive museum that showcases Mao’s life, his contributions to the Chinese revolution, and his vision for the future of China. The visit will also include a trip to the Drip Cave, where Mao spent time reflecting and making critical decisions during the revolutionary period.

Day 3: Walking in Mao’s Footsteps

The final day of the trip will take visitors on a walk along the Mao Zedong Trail, a path that connects the Drip Cave to the home of Mao’s grandmother. This trail represents the key moments of Mao’s youth and his journey out of Shaoshan to pursue his revolutionary ideals.

The tour will conclude with a visit to the Dongshan School, Mao’s alma mater and the first step on his path to revolution. This school, located in Shaoshan, was instrumental in shaping Mao’s intellectual and political development.
