In a significant move to bolster cybersecurity defenses, a cybersecurity awareness campaign was recently held in Shiyan, Bao’an District, Shenzhen. The campaign, aimed at enhancing the cybersecurity awareness of enterprise employees and fostering a healthy online environment, was conducted at two prominent companies: Shenzhen Tianke Semiconductor Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Yutong Packaging Technology Co., Ltd.
The initiative, which took place on September 9, 2024, was spearheaded by the Shiyan street-level network information staff. They provided in-depth explanations of crucial cybersecurity laws and regulations, including the Cybersecurity Law, Data Security Law, Personal Information Protection Law, Regulations on the Protection of Minors’ Online Activities, and the Regulations on the Protection of Key Information Infrastructure.
The campaign’s primary goal was to guide enterprises in adhering to standardized online practices and taking responsibility for their cybersecurity. This is an essential step in fortifying the overall cybersecurity barrier within the Shiyan community.
We must recognize the complex and severe cybersecurity situation and understand the importance of cybersecurity, said a representative from Shenzhen Tianke Semiconductor. Our company will actively strengthen cybersecurity work, ensuring that our employees are well-aware of cybersecurity and contributing to a green, healthy, and orderly online environment.
To further spread awareness, Shiyan streets also distributed cybersecurity posters in community complexes and commercial areas. They utilized LED screens in community districts and business circles to display cybersecurity messages. Additionally, volunteers disseminated informational leaflets and provided on-site explanations and consultations in parks, business districts, and internet cafes, among other key locations.
The campaign resulted in the distribution of over 3,300 informational leaflets and the张贴 of more than 200 posters. This proactive approach has been instrumental in guiding residents to proactively learn about cybersecurity and apply the knowledge to their daily lives.
Moving forward, Shiyan streets plan to continue these cybersecurity awareness campaigns throughout the district. This ongoing effort aims to provide the community with a deeper understanding of cybersecurity protection knowledge, thereby enhancing the public’s cybersecurity awareness and skills. The ultimate goal is to foster a more robust cybersecurity atmosphere within the Shiyan community.
