Title: Okanagan Sun Secures Seventh Consecutive Win in BC Football Conference
The Okanagan Sun has once again showcased their prowess on the field by securing their seventh consecutive victory this season. In a thrilling match-up against the Langley Rams, the Sun maintained their unbeaten status in the BC Football Conference (BCFC).
The Sun’s offensive power was evident from the start, as they dominated the first half with a 28-point lead over the Rams. The team’s offensive strategy was well-executed at McLeod Athletic Park Stadium, where they put up 28 points to the Rams’ 9.
In the third quarter, the Langley Rams made a strong comeback, outscoring the Sun 21-3, bringing the score to 31-30. However, the Okanagan Sun did not falter and fought back with determination, outscoring the Rams 10-8 in the fourth quarter to win the game with a final score of 41-38.
Quarterback Mark Filipek played a pivotal role in the Sun’s victory, completing 10 out of 21 passes for 145 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The team’s running back, Elelyon Noa, added to the scoring with 103 yards on 21 attempts and three receptions for 100 yards, contributing to all four of the Sun’s touchdowns.
Kicker Liam Attwood was spot-on with his field goals, going four-for-four, which proved to be crucial in maintaining the lead. On defense, Paul-Mario Nnamani was a standout, recording five tackles, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Wide receiver Jacob Bond also made significant contributions with nine tackles.

This impressive streak is a testament to the Sun’s skill, teamwork, and resilience. As they continue to dominate the BCFC, fans and followers of the team can expect more thrilling games and potentially more victories to come.
