Cyberpunk 2077 Tabletop RPG Hits Kickstarter Goal in 10Minutes
Warsaw, Poland – CD Projekt Red, the developer behind thecritically acclaimed video game Cyberpunk 2077, has announced a tabletop RPG adaptation of the game, and the Kickstarter campaign for the game has alreadyreached its goal in a mere 10 minutes.
The tabletop RPG, developed in collaboration with Go On Board, promises to transport players into the grittyand neon-soaked world of Night City. Players can choose to embody iconic characters like V, Judy, Panam, and Jackie, embarking on thrilling adventures across 13 action-packed missions.
The game, described as astory-driven experience, allows players to engage in intense combat against corporations, crack codes, pilot heavy machinery, and even confront the infamous Adam Smasher.
We’re incredibly excited to bring the world of Cyberpunk2077 to the tabletop, said Marcin Iwiński, co-founder of CD Projekt Red. This game offers a unique opportunity for fans to dive deeper into the lore and create their own stories within Night City.
The Kickstarter campaign offers two editions of the game: a standard edition priced at $79 and a deluxe edition featuring additional plastic miniatures for $139. Backers who pledge during the crowdfunding period will also receive bonus content, including extra missions, netrunners, stickers, enemies, cards, and weapons.
While the Kickstarter campaign is set to conclude at the end of the month, theretail price for the game is expected to increase after the campaign ends.
It’s important to note that the tabletop RPG will not be available in Chinese.
