The new campus is home to 13 students who participated in the opening ceremony. Among them was a female student who expressed her excitement about the new environment. There’s a vitality here that you don’t find in local Malaysian universities. I’m really looking forward to studying in this kind of environment, she said.
The Tsukuba University Malaysia Campus offers an interdisciplinary science and design program, equivalent to a Japanese university department. The curriculum focuses on global issues such as climate change and poverty, with lectures conducted in both English and Japanese.
