2000多名应届生被印度信息技术巨头Infosys进行长期无薪“入职培训”,引发员工不满和外界关注。这些毕业生在长达数年的时间里未能获得正式工作和薪酬,导致他们深感沮丧和焦虑。据信息技术新生雇员理事会(NITES)称,Infosys向这些毕业生发出录取通知后,却一再推迟他们的入职日期,要求他们参加无薪培训。

NITES已向印度劳工与就业部长Mansukh Mandaviya致信,呼吁政府介入,指责Infosys的这种行为构成“剥削”。Infosys是印度第二大IT公司,全球收入排名596,业务遍布全球30多个国家。然而,该公司被指在2022年至2023年的校园招聘中,对新员工进行了多次无薪线上和线下的培训和评估,甚至威胁不参加者将失去入职机会。

尽管Infosys首席执行官Salil Parekh近日表示,公司最终会接纳这些新员工,但并未给出具体的时间表或解释为何反复进行培训。Infosys首席财务官Jayesh Sanghrajka曾透露,公司计划今年招聘1.5万至2万名应届毕业生,但未明确这是否包括受影响的2000名员工。

NITES主张Infosys应支付入职延误期间的全额工资,或协助受影响的求职者寻找其他工作机会。该组织指出,Infosys的行为不仅影响了年轻人的职业发展,还对印度的经济增长产生负面影响,因为IT行业在印度经济中扮演着重要角色。

Infosys在应对人工智能等新兴技术带来的影响时,曾表示不会裁员,但目前的状况可能与公司的人才储备策略有关。由于IT行业岗位短缺和人员流动性降低,新毕业生找工作变得更加困难。同时,Infosys的员工总数在过去几个月中也有所下降。
