两岸菁英共聚天津大学，海峡同文书院揭牌，深化文化交流
中新社天津8月24日电 (孙玲玲 焦德芳) 为期五天的两岸菁英文化研习活动于今日在天津大学隆重开幕，来自台湾各界的近60位菁英和青年学子齐聚津门，共赴一场文化盛宴。开幕式上，由天津大学人文艺术学院与台湾中华两岸新时代交流协会共建的海峡同文书院正式揭牌，标志着两岸文化交流迈入新的里程碑。
此次研习活动内容丰富，涵盖主题讲座、文化演出、交流座谈等多个方面。台湾菁英们将与天津大学师生共同探讨两岸文化传承与创新、社会发展与民生福祉等议题，并通过文化演出展现台湾多元的文化魅力。此外，研习团还将参访黄崖关长城、独乐寺、盘山等天津市文化地标，深入了解天津的历史文化底蕴，感受中华文明的博大精深。
海峡同文书院的成立，是两岸文化交流的又一重要成果。该书院将以“促进两岸学术交流，传承中华优秀传统文化”为宗旨，由双方共同开展论坛、研习、讲座等活动，为两岸学者、青年搭建交流平台，促进学术研究和文化传承。
天津大学人文艺术学院党委书记吕静表示：“我们希望通过书院建设，进一步增进两岸青年、学者交流互动，增强文化认同，为深化两岸各领域融合发展贡献力量。”
台湾书院联谊会创会荣誉会长林政则在揭牌仪式上表示，海峡同文书院的成立，将为两岸文化交流注入新的活力，为两岸关系和平发展贡献力量。

TIANJIN, Aug. 24 (CNS) – A five-day cultural study program for cross-Strait elites kicked off today at Tianjin University, bringing together nearly 60 elites and young scholars from Taiwan for acultural feast. At the opening ceremony, the Strait Tongwen Academy, jointly established by the School of Humanities and Arts of Tianjin University and the Taiwan Association for Cross-Strait New Era Exchange, was officially unveiled, marking a new milestone incross-Strait cultural exchange.
The program features a rich agenda, encompassing thematic lectures, cultural performances, and exchange forums. Taiwanese elites will engage in discussions with Tianjin University faculty and students on topics such as cross-Strait cultural inheritanceand innovation, social development, and people’s well-being. They will also showcase Taiwan’s diverse cultural charm through cultural performances. Additionally, the study group will visit cultural landmarks in Tianjin, including the Huangya Pass Great Wall, Dule Temple, and Panshan Mountain, gaining a deeper understanding of Tianjin’s historical and cultural heritage and experiencing the profoundness of Chinese civilization.
The establishment of the Strait Tongwen Academy represents another significant achievement in cross-Strait cultural exchange. The academy will focus on “promoting cross-Strait academic exchange and inheriting excellent traditional Chinese culture,” organizing forums, study programs, lectures,and other activities by both sides. It will serve as a platform for cross-Strait scholars and youth to interact, fostering academic research and cultural inheritance.
Lü Jing, Party Secretary of the School of Humanities and Arts at Tianjin University, stated, “We hope that through the academy’s construction, we can furtherenhance communication and interaction between cross-Strait youth and scholars, strengthen cultural identity, and contribute to deepening integration and development in various fields across the Strait.”
Lin Zhengze, founding honorary president of the Taiwan Academy Association, remarked at the unveiling ceremony that the establishment of the Strait Tongwen Academy will inject new vitality intocross-Strait cultural exchange and contribute to the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations.
This event is not only a grand gathering for cross-Strait cultural exchange but also a positive measure to enhance the affection between compatriots on both sides of the Strait and promote cross-Strait integration and development.
