Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has reportedly purchased a brand new Gulfstream G700 for an estimated $80 million, making it his fourth private jet, according to aircraft tracking website JetSpy and private jet tracker Jack Sweeney. The aircraft was delivered on July10, 2024, and is registered as N11AF.
The Gulfstream G700, manufactured by Gulfstream Aerospace, is considered one of the largest and most advanced private jets in the world.It boasts a range of approximately 7,500 nautical miles (14,000 kilometers) and a top speed of 0.925 Mach, which is 92.5% of the speed ofsound, or about 710 miles per hour (1,142 kilometers per hour).

In recent years, as the demand for private jets among the wealthy has surged, the environmental pollution caused by private aviation has become increasingly concerning. Environmental organizations are urging wealthy individuals to reduce their use of private jets and take more steps to reduce carbon emissions toprotect the planet.
