**SEOUL, Aug. 22 (Yonhap)** As the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Korea and China approaches on Aug. 24, the South Korean government has stated its commitment to fosteringa healthy and mature development of bilateral ties.
At a regular press briefing on Tuesday, South Korean Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lee Jae-hung said the government hopesto work together with China to advance the relationship toward a more healthy and mature direction, based on mutual respect and mutual benefit.
