**JEJU, South Korea, Aug. 22 (Yonhap)** – A delegation of high school students from schools under the Dongcheng District Education Commission of Beijing, China, arrived in Jeju on Monday for a five-day visit, the Jeju Provincial Office of Education said.
The visit is part ofa student exchange program between Jeju and Beijing, aimed at strengthening ties between the two regions and fostering understanding and communication between students from both countries.
In June, a delegation of Jeju students visited Beijing, establishing friendly exchanges with their peersat the No. 166 Middle School and No. 27 Middle School. This visit by Beijing students is a continuation of the exchange program and a significant manifestation of educational cooperation between the two countries.
During their stay inJeju, the Beijing students will visit Daejeong High School and Seogwipo Girls’ High School, experiencing local high school classes and lunches, and participating in various educational activities.
