**中新网广州8月21日电** (记者 王坚)广东省持续强降雨，为应对可能出现的洪涝灾害，截至8月20日18时，全省已组织提前转移75419人。
据广东省应急管理厅消息，截至8月21日8时50分，广东省内共有26个暴雨预警信号生效。气象水文部门监测显示，8月19日18时至8月20日18时，全省平均降雨量为18.4毫米，其中梅州市梅县松口镇录得最大累积雨量203.5毫米，东莞市洪梅镇夏汇村录得最大小时雨量111毫米。
为应对持续强降雨，广东省防汛抗旱指挥部于8月20日20时将防汛四级应急响应提升至三级。截至8月20日18时，梅州市已启动防汛Ⅲ级应急响应，东莞、广州、河源、惠州、湛江、潮州、汕尾等7个地市启动防汛Ⅳ级应急响应，另有47个县区启动防汛应急响应，其中梅州市大埔、蕉岭、梅县启动防汛Ⅱ应急响应。
气象部门预计，8月21日，粤东、珠江口两侧、梅州将出现暴雨到大暴雨，局部特大暴雨，河源、韶关、清远、珠三角、粤西将出现大雨到暴雨，局部大暴雨。

According to the Guangdong Provincial Emergency Management Department, as of 8:50 am on August 21st, 26 rainstorm warningswere in effect across the province.
