SEOUL, Aug. 11 (Yonhap) — South Korean police revealed today that the Dongnae Police Station plans to summon BTS member SUGA (real name: Min Yoongi) for investigation into allegations of drinking and driving. SUGA fell off his electric bike near a high-end residential area in Hanam-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, where he was tested for alcohol by nearby patrol officers. The results showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.227%, far exceeding the standard for license suspension (0.08% or higher). At the time, the police did not recognize SUGA, as he was in a state of intoxication and unable to undergo a formal investigation, leading to only an alcohol test before being allowed to return home.
