第十二届海峡青年节集中阶段活动在福州隆重举行
中新网福州8月11日电 (记者 闫旭 郑江洛)8月11日，第十二届海峡青年节(简称“海青节”)集中阶段活动在福州拉开帷幕。本届海青节由国务院台湾事务办公室、中华全国青年联合会、福建省人民政府共同主办，以“互学互鉴·融合发展”为主题，时间跨度从2024年5月持续至12月，共开展42项活动，涵盖科技创新、就业创业、体育竞技、文化艺术、民间信仰等内容。
活动期间，两岸青年将有机会参与多项交流项目，包括第八届两岸大学生领袖营、第三届“走进政协·台湾青年说”、海峡气象青年汇、第三届海峡乡创生活节等。其中，首届海峡两岸(福州)大学生公益广告创意大赛暨学术研讨会活动吸引了70多名两岸大学生组成创作团队，共同创作公益广告作品。
两岸大学生领袖营为期9天8夜，来自北京大学、清华大学、台湾大学、台湾政治大学等两岸高校的125名学生会、社团负责人将参与营队活动。此外，海峡气象青年汇和海峡两岸霹雳舞大赛等活动也将邀请两岸气象学生、爱好者和街舞爱好者参与交流和竞技。
自2013年首届海青节举办以来，累计吸引了3.6万名两岸青年参与，其中台湾青年超过2万名，首次来大陆的台湾青年占半数以上。海青节已成为两岸青年交流的重要平台，为促进两岸青年之间的相互了解和友谊做出了积极贡献。
主办方表示，通过这些丰富多彩的活动，旨在为两岸青年提供更多交流合作的机会，促进两岸青年的融合发展，共同开创美好的未来。

The twelfth Haiqing Youth Festival (HQYF) culminating event kicked off in Fuzhou on August 11 in a grand ceremony. The festival, which lasts from May 2024 to December, features 42 activities covering areas such as science and technology innovation, employment and entrepreneurship, sports, arts, and folk beliefs.
During the festival, cross-strait youths will have opportunities to participate in various exchange programs, including the Eighth Cross-Strait College Students Leadership Camp, the Third “Into the People’s Political Consultative Conference – Taiwan Youth Speak”, the Haiqing Youth Gathering, and the Third Haiqing Rural Innovation and Lifestyle Festival. Among them, the inaugural Haiqing Youth Festival (Fuzhou) College Students’ Public Service Advertising Creative Competition and Academic Symposium attracted over 70 college students from both sides of the strait to form creative teams and jointly produce public service advertising works.
The Cross-Strait College Students Leadership Camp, lasting nine days and eight nights, will see 125 students and student union leaders from universities such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, National Taiwan University, and National Chengchi University participate in the camp activities. Additionally, events such as the Haiqing Youth Gathering and the Cross-Strait Breaking Dance Competition will invite students and enthusiasts from both sides of the strait to participate in exchanges and competitions in meteorology and street dance.
Since the inaugural HQYF in 2013, the festival has attracted over 36,000 cross-strait youths to participate, with over 20,000 Taiwanese youths, of whom more than half were first-time visitors to the mainland. The Haiqing Youth Festival has become an important platform for cross-strait youth exchanges, making a positive contribution to promoting mutual understanding and friendship between the youth of both sides.
The organizers stated that through these vibrant activities, the aim is to provide more opportunities for cross-strait youth to exchange and collaborate, promote the integrated development of cross-strait youth, and jointly create a bright future.
