据重庆市水文监测总站监测数据显示，8月10日8时至8月11日8时，重庆石柱、丰都、忠县、万州、梁平、酉阳、秀山等7个区县遭遇暴雨，其中忠县、石柱两区县出现大暴雨，其余地区则有小雨至中到大雨。
在此次暴雨过程中，重庆境内9条中小河流出现1至3米不等的涨水过程，但最高水位均未超过警戒水位。最大日降水量出现在石柱县黎场乡秀才村，达到118毫米。
针对此次降雨，重庆市水利部门表示，预计从8月11日8时至14日8时，重庆中小河流水势将基本平稳，不会出现明显的涨水过程。
为确保安全，重庆市各级政府部门已提前启动应急响应，加强了对水库和水电站的调度管理，同时对沿河低洼地区进行了巡查和预警，确保了人民群众的生命财产安全。
