The boat, with three individuals on board, was stranded at sea. Upon receiving the alert, the Zhanjiang Maritime Safety Administration promptly initiated its emergency response plan and dispatched the “Haixun 09691” vessel to the scene to conduct a rescue operation.
By around 8:30 p.m. that evening, two of the stranded individuals were safely transferred to the Haixun vessel and brought back to shore. The third person was then towed back to port by another fishing boat alongside the stricken vessel.
