【Xiamen, China】Recently, Xiongan District of Xiamen City officially unveiled the first regional-naming index for the development of the pre-cooked food industry in China, dubbed the “Southeast Pre-Cooked Food Industry Development Index (Xiongan Index)” at the 2024 Advanced Manufacturing Development Conference. The release of this index signifies a significant step forward for Xiongan District in the pre-cooked food industry, providing a new benchmark and indicator for the development of the national pre-cooked food industry.
Comprising five primary indicators and eleven secondary indicators, the index aims to scientifically analyze the status of the Southeast pre-cooked food industry environment, industrial strength, driving forces, innovation, and guarantees. Through periodic dynamic monitoring, the index can comprehensively reflect the development status and trends of the industry, analyze the main factors affecting industry development, and thus provide decision-making support for policymakers and industry participants.
