Recently, the Shangqiu Customs released data for the first seven months of this year, showing a sharp increase in the export volume of Shangqiu’s specialty processed fruit products, which has nearly quintupled to 1,924.6 tons, with a value of 49.569 million yuan, representing growth of 497% and 334% year-on-year, respectively.
Behind this significant growth lies the successful transformation and market expansion of Shangqiu’s fruit industry. The city’s high-quality fruits, such as longan, banana, plum, star fruit, and guava, enjoy a reputation both at home and abroad. Products like longan jelly, fresh longan juice, as well as dried fruits, fruit juice concentrate, etc., have gained international consumers’ favor due to their unique taste and nutritional value.
