Title: “Shenzhou-18 Crew Completes Half of Space Mission, Health Experiments Progressing Smoothly”
Keywords: Shenzhou-18, Space Experiment, Progressing Smoothly
Content: The Shenzhou-18 crew has been on orbit for three months, with all tasks progressing smoothly.
CCTV News (Xinhua News Agency): Since the launch and entry into orbit on April 25 this year, the Shenzhou-18 crew has been on orbit for three months. Currently, astronauts Ye Guangfu, Li Cong, and Li Guangshu are in good physical and mental condition. A number of space scientific experiments and tests are progressing smoothly. Yesterday, July 28, the China Manned Space Engineering Office released the latest on-orbit video of the Chinese Space Station: The three astronauts of Shenzhou-18 have recently completed a series of weightlessness protection experiments, including bone loss prevention technology research, using instruments such as bone loss countermeasure devices, ultrasound detection, and nerve muscle stimulation instruments to ensure the health of the astronauts during their stay on orbit and to ensure the smooth conduct of space experiments and tests.
In addition, the astronaut crew has also conducted tests on the change rules of eye-hand coordination movement in the space station, further studying the changes in the stability, accuracy, and coordination of astronauts’ fine operation control. This will provide reference for future mission procedures and human-machine interaction design. Currently, the Shenzhou-18 astronaut crew has been on orbit for more than 90 days, and with the coordination of ground and space, they have successfully completed two extravehicular activities and are steadily advancing experimental and test projects in the fields of space materials science, space life science, and astronautical medicine.
The success of the Shenzhou-18 crew’s on-orbit mission not only demonstrates the maturity and stability of China’s manned space engineering but also accumulates valuable experience for future space exploration. As the mission progresses, astronauts will continue to conduct various scientific experiments and operations to make new contributions to the peaceful use of space by humanity.
