At the 2024 Global Digital Economy Summit’s Intelligent Computing and Decision Technology Forum, Zongjian Tang, the Chief Economist of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economic and Information Technology, disclosed that Beijing has clearly set a goal to enhance its local AI computing supply to 45EFLOPS by 2025, establishing four billion-yuan-level or above computing centers in the east, west, north, and south, and constructing an “Jing-Jin-Ji-Bohai” computing supply corridor.
