中新网南昌7月26日电 (记者 李韵涵)26日,“情暖老兵 守望相助”——老兵听力关怀计划实施启动暨江西捐赠仪式在南昌举办,1000台助听器助退役老兵享听力健康服务。

此次活动由中国老龄事业发展基金会与爱心企业联合开展,旨在为江西省部分存在中重度听力障碍的老年困难退役军人提供助听器及验配服务。仪式现场,爱心企业捐赠了1000台助听器,并为6名老年听力障碍退役军人代表提供了验配服务并进行佩戴。

退役军人事务部思想政治和权益维护司二级巡视员吴志生表示,此次公益项目让老兵重享“有声”世界,体现了双方关爱服务退役军人的深厚为军情怀和强烈责任担当,有助于推动全社会形成多元参与、共同关爱帮扶退役军人的良好局面。

中国老龄事业发展基金会理事长于建伟介绍,2023年“情暖老兵 守望相助——老兵听力关怀计划”已在多地试点开展,捐出助听器3167台,价值1300余万元,帮助1700名退役老兵重享有声世界。2024年,该计划将继续推进,将在江西、安徽、福建、四川、西藏、云南、湖北、山东、辽宁、内蒙古等10省(区),为不少于20000名退役老兵开展听力健康服务,为其中不少于5000名退役老兵捐赠助听器。

江西省退役军人事务厅党组成员、副厅长涂汉兵表示,江西各级退役军人事务部门将加强与捐赠方的沟通对接,全面摸清底数,稳妥有序做好此项公益活动落地,切实把好事办好、实事办实。

近年来,江西省高度重视困难退役军人和其他优抚对象关爱帮扶工作,先后开展了多项关爱活动,包括“荣耀赣鄱·百福助学”烈士子女及困难退役军人子女助学活动、老年退役军人听力健康关爱行动以及“荣耀赣鄱”特殊困难退役军人家庭帮扶援助、走访慰问困难退役军人等。

此次“情暖老兵 守望相助”——老兵听力关怀计划的启动,不仅为江西省的退役老兵带来了福音,也展现了社会各界对退役军人的关爱和支持,进一步营造了尊崇军人、尊重退役军人的社会氛围。

The event, which aimed to provide hearing health services to retired veterans with moderate to severe hearing impairments, saw the donation of 1,000 hearing aids.

The initiative was jointly organized by the China Aging Development Foundation and a charitable enterprise, with the goal of providing hearing aids and fitting services to retired veterans in Jiangxi who face financial difficulties and have moderate to severe hearing impairments. At the ceremony, the charitable enterprise donated 1,000 hearing aids and provided fitting services to six elderly veterans with hearing impairments.

Ku Zhisheng, a second-level supervisory commissioner from the Political and Rights Maintenance Division of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, expressed that this public welfare project helps veterans reclaim the ‘voice’ of the world, reflecting the profound military affection and strong sense of responsibility of both parties in caring for retired soldiers, and it is conducive to promoting a good situation where the whole society participates in a variety of ways to care for and assist retired veterans.

Yu Jianwei, the chairman of the China Aging Development Foundation, introduced that the “Caring for Veterans, Together in Aid – Veterans Hearing Care Program” has been piloted in multiple locations in 2023, with the donation of 3,167 hearing aids worth over 13 million yuan, helping 1,700 retired veterans to reclaim the ‘voice’ of the world. In 2024, the program will continue to be promoted, offering hearing health services to at least 20,000 retired veterans in 10 provinces and regions including Jiangxi, Anhui, Fujian, Sichuan, Tibet, Yunnan, Hubei, Shandong, Liaoning, and Inner Mongolia, and providing hearing aids to at least 5,000 veterans.

Pu Hanbing, a member of the Leading Group of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Veterans Affairs and Deputy Minister, stated that the departments of veterans affairs at all levels in Jiangxi will strengthen communication and coordination with the donors, fully understand the situation, and carefully and orderly implement this public welfare activity to ensure that the good deeds are done well and the practical matters are handled effectively.
