近日，第六届两岸融合发展(重庆)论坛在重庆盛大开幕，吸引了来自海峡两岸的38名专家学者共聚一堂，围绕“共走融合发展之路·共促中华民族复兴”这一主题展开深入研讨与交流。这一活动不仅体现了两岸学者对共同繁荣发展的追求，也是推动两岸关系和平发展的重要举措。

### Scholars from Both Sides of the Strait Convene in Chongqing for Forum on Seamless Integration
Recently, the Sixth Chongqing Forum on Seamless Integration across the Strait was inaugurated in Chongqing, gathering 38 scholars and experts from both sides of the Strait. They gathered under the theme “Together on the Path of Seamless Integration for National Revival,” engaging in profound discussions and exchanges. This event not only embodies the pursuit of prosperity and development by scholars on both sides of the Strait but also serves as a significant step towards promoting peaceful development of cross-strait relations.
At the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, Qi Keming, emphasized that with the continuous improvement of the socialist market economic system on the mainland, its advantages in a massive domestic market, a well-rounded industrial system, and a talent pool of high-quality laborers and entrepreneurs will become even more pronounced. These developments offer greater opportunities for the development of Taiwanese individuals, businesses, and youth, and pave the way for more extensive economic cooperation and seamless integration across the Strait. Founding Chairman of the “Belt and Road” Trade and Economic Promotion Association of Taiwan, Wang Dapan, proposed that the seamless integration between the two sides should be pursued from three dimensions: economy, society, and culture. By promoting economic integration through “connectivity,” advancing social integration through “benefits,” and deepening cultural integration through “emotions,” a closer and more integrated relationship between the two sides can be built.
