### National People’s Political Consultative Conference Strongly Condemns US Interference in Tibet Affairs
On July 13, a seminar was held by the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee of the National People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) to discuss and condemn the US interference in Tibet affairs. During the meeting, 16 CPPCC members, ethnic minority representatives, and leaders of national religious organizations including Buddhism, Daoism, Islam, Catholicism, and Christianity participated actively. They expressed strong condemnation and intense anger towards the so-called “Act to Promote the Settlement of the Tibet-China Dispute” recently signed by the US, and firmly opposed this act.
The attendees collectively believed that the US actions severely interfered in China’s internal affairs, not only damaging China’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity but also violating international law and basic principles of diplomacy.
