Beijing, July 3 (Zhang Yangbin) – At the 2024 Cross-Strait Youth Summit held recently, Vice Chairman of the Kuomintang Party Lian Shengwen shared his experience of studying abroad in the US over 30 years ago. He emphasized that cross-Strait youth see more similarities than differences when they study and live together in a foreign land.
Lian Shengwen stated that during his stay in the US, he lived with classmates from mainland China, and their interactions and understanding enabled cross-Strait youth to overcome barriers and see their commonalities.
