Recently, the popular AI model and creative sharing community LiblibAI disclosed an infringement case, claiming that “Yizhou Intelligent” has used its community’s nearly 100 AI creative models without permission for commercial purposes, which seriously infringes on the rights and interests of the community’s model creators and the company.

According to the statistics from the LiblibAI team, the illegally transferred models totaled 97, involving multiple creators, including “Menggu China | Guofeng Wuyasha Shanshui” by Beifang, “Zenpainting | Zen-Inspired Illustration” by Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye, “Mo You Artificial Intelligence” by Mo You, and architectural models by Arxchibo. These models are the crystallization of creators’ wisdom and labor, yet “Yizhou Intelligent” has used them without permission on its pay-per-month website, charging 399 yuan per month for commercial profit.

The LiblibAI side stated that despite their repeated attempts to communicate and resolve the issue with “Yizhou Intelligent,” the latter has taken no corrective measures. Therefore, they have no choice but to resort to legal action to protect their rights. Currently, LiblibAI has formally filed a lawsuit against the company, hoping to hold “Yizhou Intelligent” accountable through the legal process and demand that it stop the infringement and compensate for the losses.

This incident has not only attracted attention from the AI creative community but also sparked public discussion on the protection of AI creative copyrights. With the development of AI technology, more and more works are generated by AI, raising the issue of how to protect creators’ rights reasonably and ensure a fair and just creation environment, which has become a focus of concern among various sectors of society.

As of the time of publication, “Yizhou Intelligent” has not responded to the incident, and the case is currently under further review. LiblibAI calls on AI creators and users to pay attention to the case’s progress and jointly maintain a healthy creation environment.
