保定,中新网讯 (吕子豪 杨瀰) 在河北高阳县庞口镇边家务村,有一位名叫彭占山的“武术达人”,他义务授徒20多年,培养出超过2000余名武术爱好者,用武术传承者的身份,诠释着对中华武术文化的热爱与坚守。

5月18日,正值阳光明媚的周末,彭占山如往常一样,早早地来到村里的青少年少林武术培训基地,开始了一天的教学工作。现场,30余名少年正全神贯注地跟随他的指导,进行着基础的弓步练习。

“前腿弓,后腿蹬,挺胸抬头,全脚掌着地,上身与地面垂直……”彭占山一边示范,一边详细讲解每个动作的要领。在他看来,武术不仅是一项强身健体的运动,更是一种精神的磨砺和意志的锻炼。

彭占山的武术之路始于童年,自幼便对武术充满热情的他,拜师学艺,习得了一身过硬的武术本领。成年后,他便立下志愿,要将自己的所学传授给更多的人,尤其是青少年,希望通过武术的训练,培养他们的意志力和自我约束能力。

20多年来,彭占山坚持每周义务为村里的孩子们上课,风雨无阻。他的学生中,有的已经成为了武术比赛的冠军,有的则将武术精神融入到日常生活中,无论是在学习还是工作中,都展现出坚韧不拔的品质。

Baoding, China News Service (Lü Zihao, Yang Mi) In Baoding, Hebei, there is a village called Bianjiwu in Gaoyang County where a “Wushu Master” named Peng Zhan Shan has been teaching Wushu freely for over 20 years, cultivating more than 20,000 Wushu enthusiasts. As a Wushu inheritor, he interprets his love and dedication to Chinese Wushu culture.

On May 18th, which was a sunny weekend, just like every other day, Peng Zhan Shan arrived at the village’s Youth Shaolin Wushu Training Base early in the morning to start his teaching for the day. There, over 30 teenagers were fully engaged in following his guidance to practice the basic bow step.

“Front leg in a bow stance, back leg extended, chest out, head up, whole foot flat on the ground, body perpendicular to the ground…” Peng Zhan Shan demonstrated the movements while giving detailed explanations of each technique. To him, Wushu is not only a physical exercise for strengthening the body but also a cultivation of spirit and willpower.

Peng Zhan Shan’s journey in Wushu began in his childhood, filled with an enthusiasm for Wushu, he sought a master to learn from and acquired excellent Wushu skills. As an adult, he resolved to pass on his knowledge to more people, especially the youth, hoping to cultivate their willpower and self-discipline through Wushu training.

Over the past 20 years, Peng Zhan Shan has been teaching the children in the village voluntarily every week, come rain or shine. Among his students, some have become champions in Wushu competitions, while others have integrated Wushu spirit into their daily lives, showing resilience in both studying and working.

Peng Zhan Shan said, “Wushu is the treasures of traditional Chinese culture, and I am just a transmitter. Seeing these children become more confident and healthy through Wushu gives me immense satisfaction and pride.”

It is known that the Youth Shaolin Wushu Training Base in Bianjiwu village was established with the support of the local government and villagers. Its aim is to enrich the extracurricular lives of the teenagers through Wushu training, while cultivating their sense of group honor and recognition of traditional culture.

Peng Zhan Shan’s story is a microcosm of Wushu heritage in Gaoyang County, Hebei and a vivid demonstration of the revitalization of Chinese Wushu culture in the new era.
