The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Digital Economy Institute (IDEA Institute) has announced that its industrialization project, the confidential computing technology provider Shenzhen Strong Foundation Computing Technology Co., Ltd. (also known as Shenzhen Confidential Computing Technology Co., Ltd.’s parent company), has secured tens of millions of yuan in funding. The round was led by a fund under China International Capital Corporation Ltd (CICC) and saw Zhi Shi Capital serve as the exclusive financial advisor. The funds will primarily be used to accelerate the research and development and production of the SPU Confidential Computing product and its commercial application in scenarios such as AI large-scale models and data element circulation.
