这台盾构机直径达15.08米，总长135米，总重4,400吨，是目前国内最大的超大直径泥水平衡盾构机，也是中国首台应用于隧道联络通道施工的超大直径盾构机。它采用机械法施工，能够实现对隧道结构的微小变形控制，确保隧道运营安全。
“海珠湾一号”的研制成功，标志着中国在超大直径盾构隧道施工技术上取得了新突破，对于提高中国隧道施工技术水平，推动隧道工程机械化、智能化发展具有重要意义。

With a diameter of 15.08 meters, a length of 135 meters, and a weight of 4,400 tons, “Haizhuwan No. 1” is currently the largest large-diameter slurry balance shield tunneling machine in China and the first of its kind used for the construction of tunnel communication channels.
