据了解,王先生在海口中升雷克萨斯汽车销售服务有限公司选购车辆时,被店方告知需额外支付10万元的服务费。王先生对此表示质疑,并向海口市市场监督管理局投诉。

海口市市场监督管理局接到投诉后,立即展开调查。经核查,该4S店未在合同中明确告知消费者需额外支付服务费,且未提供相应的服务内容和收费依据。市监局认为,该行为违反了《中华人民共和国消费者权益保护法》和《中华人民共和国价格法》等相关规定,构成了强制消费和未明码标价的行为。

目前,海口市市场监督管理局已向海口中升雷克萨斯汽车销售服务有限公司下达行政处罚告知书,拟对其作出罚款和责令整改的处罚决定。同时,该4S店已被列入严重违法失信名单。

海口市市场监督管理局相关负责人表示,将进一步加强汽车销售市场的监管,严厉打击各类违法违规行为,保护消费者的合法权益。

The incident came to light when a local resident, Mr. Wang, was asked to pay the extra fee on top of the vehicle’s purchase price at Haikou Central Elevated Lexus Sales and Service Co., Ltd. Mr. Wang voiced his concerns and filed a complaint with the Haikou Market Supervision Administration.

Upon investigation, the administration found that the dealership had not disclosed the additional service fee in the contract and had failed to provide details of the services or the basis for the charges. The administration concluded that the dealership had engaged in forced consumer practices and violated pricing transparency regulations under the Consumer Rights Protection Law and the Price Law of the People’s Republic of China.

As a result, the market supervision administration issued a notice of penalty to Haikou Central Elevated Lexus Sales and Service Co., Ltd., proposing fines and责令整改 measures. The dealership has also been added to a list of serious illegal and dishonest entities.
