中新网广西凭祥3月19日电(杨陈 农志翔)记者19日从广西北投口岸投资集团有限公司(以下简称北投口岸集团)获悉，由该公司负责投资运营的凭祥综合保税区(友谊关口岸)，目前正在大力推进中越友谊关—友谊货运通道智慧口岸项目建设，项目已全面进入实质性建设阶段。
智慧口岸项目旨在通过现代信息技术提升口岸的运营效率和管理水平，优化跨境贸易流程，为中越两国之间的货物往来提供更加便捷、高效的服务。该项目将引入智能监控、电子通关、自动核放等先进系统，以减少通关时间、提高货物吞吐量，并加强口岸的安全性和透明度。
北投口岸集团表示，智慧口岸项目的建设是适应新时代国际贸易发展需求的重要举措，也是推动“一带一路”倡议与东盟国家发展战略对接的具体实践。项目建成后，将进一步提升中越边境地区的互联互通水平，为深化两国经贸合作提供有力支撑。

CHINA, March 19 (Xinhua) — The construction of the Smart Port project at the Pingxiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone (Friendship Pass) in south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has entered the substantive construction phase, according to the Guangxi Bei’ou Investment Port Group Co., Ltd. (Bei’ou Investment Port Group) on Saturday.
The project, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and management of border crossings, is part of the efforts to facilitate trade between China and Vietnam. It will introduce advanced systems, including intelligent surveillance, electronic clearance, and automatic inspection, to streamline customs procedures, increase cargo throughput, and strengthen security and transparency at the port.
Bei’ou Investment Port Group said that the Smart Port project is a crucial measure to adapt to the development needs of international trade in the new era and a concrete practice to promote the alignment of the Belt and Road Initiative with the development strategies of ASEAN countries.
