(Qinzhou, March 6) On March 6, the first set of E-navigation bridge “Intelligent Early Warning System” installed by the Beihai Aids to Navigation Office of the South China Sea Navigation Guarantee Center of the Ministry of Transport on the Shajing QinjiangGrand Bridge, the gateway to the Pinglu Canal, was officially put into use.

After 30 days of on-site testing, the system can greatly improve the safety of bridges, providing strong guarantees for ship navigation and bridge anti-collision.

The system was independently developed by the Beihai Aids to Navigation Office, integrating functions such as radar, AIS, video surveillance, weather monitoring, and voice broadcasting. It can realize real-time monitoring, early warning, and disposal of ship dynamics in the waters near the bridge.

The system uses radar and AIS equipment to monitor the waters near the bridge around the clock, obtaining real-time information such as ship position, course, and speed. When the ship’s航行轨迹 poses a collision risk with the bridge, the system will automatically issue a voice warning, reminding the ship’s driver to avoid it in time.

At the same time, the system is also equipped with a high-definition video surveillance camera, which can monitor the waters near the bridge in real time and can play back historical videos. This provides bridge managers and ship drivers with intuitive on-site images, making it easy to discover and handle abnormal situations in a timely manner.

In addition, the system also integrates weather monitoring functions, which can monitor meteorological information such as wind speed, wind direction, and visibility in the waters near the bridge in real time, and issue early warnings for ship navigation based on weather conditions.

The commissioning of this system marks a new stage in the anti-collision technology of Pinglu Canal bridges, providing strong support for ensuring the safety of ship navigation and the safe operation of bridges.
