中国经济有望实现良好开局
中新网3月6日电 国家发展和改革委员会主任郑栅洁6日表示，开年以来，中国经济延续回升向好态势。实物量等先行指标较快增长，前2个月全国统调发电量同比增长11.7%，工业用电量增长9.7%。文化、旅游、餐饮等消费旺盛，春节假期全国国内旅游出游人次同比增长34%。
郑栅洁在国新办举行的新闻发布会上表示，当前中国经济运行总体平稳，主要指标在合理区间。随着疫情防控政策优化调整，经济社会发展呈现恢复性增长态势。
他指出，从实物量指标看，工业生产保持恢复性增长，前2个月规模以上工业增加值同比增长6.3%。服务业快速回暖，前2个月全国服务业生产指数同比增长11.8%。
从消费指标看，消费市场回暖明显。前2个月，社会消费品零售总额同比增长11.8%，其中餐饮收入同比增长24.7%。
从投资指标看，投资稳步增长。前2个月，全国固定资产投资同比增长5.1%，其中制造业投资同比增长10.8%。
从价格指标看，物价总体平稳。2月份，居民消费价格指数（CPI）同比上涨2.1%，涨幅比上月回落0.1个百分点。
郑栅洁表示，当前中国经济正处于回升向好的关键时期，但仍面临不少挑战。下一步，国家发改委将继续深入贯彻落实党中央、国务院决策部署，坚持稳中求进工作总基调，着力扩大有效需求，着力深化供给侧结构性改革，着力促进科技创新，着力保障和改善民生，着力防范化解重大风险，推动经济运行在合理区间。
他强调，有理由相信，在党中央、国务院的坚强领导下，通过全国上下共同努力，中国经济一定能够实现质的有效提升和量的合理增长，为全面建设社会主义现代化国家开好局、起好步。

China’s economy is poised for a solid start to the year, accordingto a top official.
Zheng Zejie, head of the National Development and Reform Commission, said on Monday that the economy has continued to recover and improve since the beginning of the year.
Leading physical indicators have shown rapid growth. In the first two months, the country’s total electricity generation increased by 11.7% year-on-year, while industrial electricity consumption rose by 9.7%.
Consumption in sectors such as culture, tourism, and catering has been robust. During the Spring Festival holiday, domestic tourism trips increased by 34% year-on-year.
Zheng, speaking at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office, said that China’s economy is generally stable, with key indicators within a reasonable range.
“With the optimization and adjustment of COVID-19 prevention and control policies, economic and social development has shown a trend of recovery growth,” he said.
He noted thatindustrial production has maintained a recovery growth trend, with the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increasing by 6.3% year-on-year in the first two months.
The service sector has rebounded rapidly, with the national service industry production index rising by 11.8% year-on-year in the first two months.
Consumption has also rebounded significantly. In the first two months, total retail sales of consumer goods increased by 11.8% year-on-year, with catering revenue surging by 24.7%.
Investment has grown steadily. In the first two months, fixed-asset investment nationwide increased by 5.1% year-on-year, with investment in manufacturing rising by 10.8%.
Prices have remained generally stable. In February, the consumer price index (CPI) rose by 2.1% year-on-year, down 0.1 percentage points from the previous month.
Zheng said that China’s economy is currently in a critical period of recovery and improvement, but it still faces many challenges.
“The National Development and Reform Commission will continue to thoroughly implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, adhere tothe general principle of seeking progress while maintaining stability, focus on expanding effective demand, deepening supply-side structural reforms, promoting scientific and technological innovation, safeguarding and improving people’s livelihoods, and preventing and mitigating major risks to promote the economy’s operation within a reasonable range,” he said.
He emphasized that under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and with the joint efforts of the whole country, China’s economy will surely achieve qualitative and effective improvement and reasonable growth in quantity, making a good start and taking a good step towards building a modern socialist country in all respects.
