At a regular press conference on March 6, MFA spokesperson Mao Ning said that the NPC and CPPCC sessions are major events in China’s political life and provide an important windowfor the outside world to observe China.
“By attending the sessions, foreign diplomats can gain a deeper understanding of China’s political system, its economic and social development, and the aspirations and demands of the Chinese people,” Mao said.
