KUNMING, March 3 (Xinhua) — A large-scale public lecture titled Returning to the Yunnan-Burma Battlefield and Telling the Story of Yunnan was held at the Anti-Japanese Victory Memorial Hall in Kunming over the weekend, where the history of the overseas Chinese aircraft workers’ return to China to resist Japan 85 years ago was vividly retold by Professor Lin Shaochuan from Overseas Chinese University.
The purpose of this public lecture is to commemorate the heroic feat of the overseas Chinese aircraft workers’ return to China to resist Japan and pay tribute to them.
