This is where the charm of nature intertwines. Jiuling Mountain, stretching across Jiangxi and Hunan provinces, is famous for its majestic peaks and abundant resources. Among them, Jiuling Peak, the highest point of Jiuling Mountain, stands静ently at the junction of Jing’an, Xiuwater, and Wuning counties, with an altitude of nearly 1,800 meters.
That summer, I strolled along the banks of the Liao River in Zhongyuan Township and my gaze was drawn to a plump white cloud hovering atop Jiuling Peak. The cloud seemed to have texture and weight, quietly lingering on the peak like a giant marshmallow. I stopped in my tracks, captivated by the sight, as if it could bring me a hint of coolness.
The cloud atop Jiuling Peak is a work of art created by nature, freely floating in the sky, taking on various shapes, and giving off a mysterious and tranquil feeling. Standing there, gazing up at the sky, I felt as if I could touch the cloud’s texture and weight, as if they were within my reach.
