With the establishment of its AI innovation and development department, Ant Group aims to enhance its technological capabilities. The department, named NextEvo, is led by Vice President Xu Peng, who brings extensive experience from his 11-year tenure at Google. He has played a key role in the core technology development of Google Translate and the algorithm research of Google’s display advertising system. NextEvo is the elite AI division within Ant Group, responsible for all the core technology research and development of Ant AI, including the development of Ant Bailing, the large model.
NextEvo’s establishment signifies Ant Group’s commitment to innovation and technological leadership in the AI field. It is another step in Ant Group’s efforts to build a world-class technology company.
