泰国诗琳通公主亲临曼谷唐人街，主持一年一度盛大的“欢乐春节”活动。2月10日，农历大年初一傍晚，活动拉开序幕，吸引了众多泰国民众和华人华侨前来参加。
诗琳通公主在开幕式上表示，春节是泰国华人社区最重要的节日，很高兴能再次来到唐人街与大家共庆佳节。她指出，泰中两国文化交流密切，春节活动不仅增进了两国人民的友谊，也促进了泰国华人社会的团结。
活动现场张灯结彩，喜气洋洋。不仅有传统的中国民俗表演，如舞龙舞狮、京剧表演等，还有泰国本地艺术家表演的节目。参与者们品尝着中华美食，欢声笑语不断。
According to the Xinhua News Agency’s report from Bangkok on February 11th, His Royal Highness Princess Sirindhorn presided over the “Happy Chinese New Year” event in Thailand. On the evening of the first day of the Chinese New Year, which falls on the lunar calendar, the event was launched in Bangkok’s Chinatown, attracting numerous Thai citizens, as well as Chinese expatriates and overseas Chinese, to participate.
During the opening ceremony, Princess Sirindhorn expressed that the Chinese New Year is the most important festival for the Chinese community in Thailand, and she was delighted to be present again in Chinatown to celebrate the occasion with everyone. She noted that the cultural exchanges between Thailand and China are close, and the Chinese New Year celebration not only enhances the friendship between the people of the two countries but also promotes the unity of the Thai-Chinese community.
The event site was adorned with colorful lanterns and festive decorations. There were performances of traditional Chinese cultural arts, such as dragon and lion dances, Peking Opera, and performances by local Thai artists. Participants enjoyed Chinese cuisine and the atmosphere was filled with laughter and joy.
