AI audit and financial data automation platform DataSnipper has recently announced the completion of a $100 million Series B funding round. This round of financing was led by Index Ventures, valuing DataSnipper at $1 billion and naming it as a unicorn company.
DataSnipper aims to provide an intelligent automation platform for auditors and financial professionals. By embedding automation directly into Excel, the platform enables users to easily extract numbers from various documents such as invoices, bank statements, or inventory files, thus eliminating the tedious manual work.
It is reported that this funding will be used to further research, develop, and promote DataSnipper’s platform, in order to meet the growing demand for AI audit and financial automation. Partners from Index Ventures expressed their optimism about DataSnipper’s future prospects and believe it will become a leader in this field.
