上海徐汇区政府与中国电信上海公司于1月22日共同举办了“算力惠模都 万兆连速城”人工智能公共算力服务产品发布会。会上宣布,中国电信将在上海建设首个国产液冷万卡算力集群,预计到2024年上半年,总算力将达到4500P,成为国内最大的单池万卡液冷算力集群。

这一集群的建设,将有力支撑万亿参数大模型的运算需求,对于推动我国人工智能技术的发展,具有重要的战略意义。据悉,集群规划建设的15000卡的智算集群,将全部采用国产液冷技术,单池新建国产算力达万卡,这在国内尚属首次。

作为中国电信的重点项目,这一算力集群的建成,不仅将提升上海在全球人工智能领域的竞争力,也将为我国在全球科技竞争中,提供强有力的支撑。

The Shanghai Xuhui District Government and China Telecom Shanghai Company jointly held the “Compute-for-Model-City, Terabit-for-Speed-City” Artificial Intelligence Public Computing Power Service Product Launch on January 22. It was announced at the event that China Telecom will build the first domestic liquid-cooled terascale computing cluster in Shanghai. By the first half of 2024, the total computing power is expected to reach 4500P, making it the largest single-pool terascale liquid-cooled computing cluster in China.

This cluster will strongly support the computation needs of trillions of parameters in large models, which is strategically significant for promoting the development of artificial intelligence technology in our country. It is understood that the planned 15000-card intelligent computing cluster will use domestic liquid-cooling technology throughout, with the single-pool newly built domestic computing power reaching ten thousand cards, a first in China.

As a key project of China Telecom, the completion of this computing cluster will not only enhance Shanghai’s competitiveness in the global artificial intelligence field but also provide strong support for China’s global scientific and technological competition.
