中国造动车组在智利投入运营，刷新南美速度
据央视财经报道，智利国家铁路公司于当地时间1月19日宣布，该国首条高速铁路正式投入商业运营，列车最高时速160公里，刷新了“南美速度”。据悉，此次上线运营的新列车，是中国中车四方为智利国家铁路量身打造的现代化双动力动车组。智利国家铁路公司称，这条高铁线路是智利升级国家铁路设施计划的一部分。列车运行区间为智利首都圣地亚哥阿拉米达中央车站到智利中部城市库里科。投入运营后，智利铁路列车商业运营速度历史上第一次达到时速160公里，阿拉米达到库里科只需要两小时，比既有列车缩短了20分钟，是当前智利所在的南美洲最快轨道列车。
智利交通和电信部部长穆尼奥斯表示：“这是我国甚至是南美洲地区的一个历史性时刻，此类列车首次在这里投入商业运营，列车能让我们以每小时160公里的速度旅行，它绝对和欧洲或世界其他地方的列车一样好，而且列车具备服务残疾人的无障碍设施。”
IT之家从报道中获悉，此次上线运营的新列车，是中国中车四方为智利国家铁路量身打造的现代化双动力动车组，采用4辆编组，定员载客236人。其最大特点是配有内燃动力和接触网供电两种动力模式，行驶途中可不停车切换动力模式，具备在电气化区段和非电气化区段间混跑的能力，提高了车辆适用性和可靠性，满足智利当地运营需求。
智利位于南美洲西南部，安第斯山脉西麓，东同阿根廷为邻，北与秘鲁、玻利维亚接壤，西临太平洋，南与南极洲隔海相望。海岸线总长约1万公里，南北长4352公里，东西最窄96.8公里、最宽362.3公里，是世界上地形最狭长的国家。
