Content: Today in history, we commemorate a great Chinese poet and writer – Xu Zhimo. He was born on January 15, 1897, in a wealthy family in Haining, Zhejiang Province. His original name was Zhang Ji, his courtesy name was Yusen, and later he changed it to Zhimo. He is a representative figure of the New Moon School of modern poetry, as well as an outstanding essayist and martial arts novelist, who is also the cousin of Jin Yong.
