商务部新闻发言人在1月11日的新闻发布会上介绍，自2019年电子商务法实施以来，我国电子商务从业人数从4700万人增加至超过7000万人，电子商务交易总额从2018年的31.63万亿元增长至2022年的43.83万亿元。实物商品网上零售额占社零总额（社会消费品零售总额）的比重超过四分之一。
同时，我国连续11年成为全球最大网络零售市场，电子商务已经成为数字经济中发展规模最大、覆盖范围最广、创业创新最为活跃的重要组成部分。电子商务还成为数字化转型“新引擎”，涌现了化工、建材等一批交易额过千亿的B2B平台，国家电子商务示范基地带动形成服装、家具等30余个特色化数字产业带。
据IT之家此前报道，商务部等22部门曾在2021年印发《“十四五”国内贸易发展规划》提出，到2025年，我国社会消费品零售总额达到50万亿元左右；批发和零售业、住宿和餐饮业增加值达到15.7万亿元左右；网上零售额达到17万亿元左右。

According to previous reports by IT House, 22 departments including the Ministry of Commerce issued the “14th Five-Year Plan for Domestic Trade Development” in 2021, which proposed that by 2025, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods will reach about 50 trillion yuan; the added value of wholesale and retail trade, accommodation and catering industries will reach about 15.7 trillion yuan; and online retail sales will reach about 17 trillion yuan.
