中国电信日前发布公告称，天通卫星系统将于 1 月 16 日 0-6 点、1 月 18 日 0-4 点进行扩容升级，届时可能短暂影响天通语音、短信业务。据IT之家了解，已经发布的华为 Mate 60 Pro / Pro+、天翼铂顿 S9、荣耀 Magic6 Pro 手机均支持“天通卫星系统”。
去年 11 月举行的 2023 中国电信终端生态合作暨中国电信终端产业联盟第十四次会员大会上，中国电信集团有限公司市场部副总经理邵琰涛表示，2024 年，中国电信将着力推进国产 TOP 手机品牌全面支持直连卫星，国产芯片手机全面支持量子密话。针对手机直连卫星，支持国内主流手机终端厂商推出直连卫星旗舰机型，2024 年底前上市终端款型不少于 5 款。
根据博主 @数码闲聊站 此前爆料，TOP5 国产超大杯新机全员上「卫星通信」。如果爆料属实，预计 OPPO Find X7 Ultra 卫星通信版、荣耀 Magic6 RSR 保时捷设计、小米 14 Ultra、vivo X100 Pro+、华为 P70 Art 均有望支持卫星通信。
