The 9th China-Taiwan Cultural Exchange Forum opened on November 12th in Beijing, bringing together more than 150 experts and scholars from the mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao. The forum, organized by Peking University and the China National Taiwan 同胞联谊会，aims to promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the two sides and to contribute to the global development of Chinese culture.
The China-Taiwan Cultural Exchange Forum has been held since 2006 and has become an important platform for cultural exchange between the two sides. This year’s forum will explore the inheritance and development of Chinese culture, as well as the cultural opportunities and challenges in China’s modernization process. The participants will share their research findings and experience in the field, discuss the development of cultural and creative industries, and explore how to promote peaceful development and cultural exchange through culture.
